Home Remedies for Leucoderma
- Psoralea seeds - soak psoralea seeds for 3 to 4 days in ginger juice. Then dry and grind them to fine powder. Take a gram of the powder with a glass of milk for approximately 1 month. In addition, you can also apply the powder directly on the white patches.
- Radish seeds - grind 25g of radish seeds in a powdery substance, and then add two teaspoons of vinegar to make a fine paste. You then apply the paste on the affected regions and wash it off when dry.
- Goose vegetables – this is another effective leucoderma treatment. You only need to apply its juice to your affected area once a day for 2 months.
- Copper – it is another effective method of healing leucoderma. It involves filling a copper vessel with clean drinking water and leaving it overnight. Thereafter, take the water every morning on an empty stomach.
- Grind black gram – it also effective in treating leucoderma. Make its paste by grinding it and adding water to its powder. Then apply it on the affected area, washing it off after it dries. Do this for about 4-5 months.
- Ginger and red clay – mix the two together in equal portions. Apply the mixture on the spots and patches and wash it off when dry.
- Walnuts and figs – you should increase the consumption of these two. They work to heal leucoderma by; the walnuts purifying your blood, while the figs have healing properties thus helping you treat your condition.
- Ginger - you make a poultice of its leaves and then apply it on your affected areas.
- Cucumber juice and alfalfa - combine 100gm of each of these two and take the mixture twice a day (morning and evening) with water.
- Turmeric - soak 500g turmeric in water (about 8 liters) and boil until it is only a liter left. Drain the liquid and to it add a half a liter of mustard oil. For results, ensure that you apply this mixture on the patches 2 times a day for 2 to 3 months.
Herbal Treatment For Leucoderma
- Holy basil leaves – it has proven very beneficial in treating the white patches and spots. Make a decoction of the leaves or stem, or consume it raw, with water for results.
- Dry Pomegranate leaves – grind a handful of these leaves into fine powder. For results, make sure that you take about 8gm of this power with a glass of water every morning and evening.
- Neem – this is a world known remedy for many health conditions, leucoderma being one of them. Take a glass of its juice everyday to treat your condition.
Diet For Leucoderma
- Celery or vegetables rich in psoralens - apart from treating Leucoderma, psoralens also increases your skin's natural reaction to sunlight.
- Adopt a low fat, high-fiber diet – this includes consuming plenty of vegetables and raw fruits after the fast for detoxification. In addition, to promote fast healing avoid stimulants, fatty foods and preservatives.
- Consume iron rich foods – you also need to raise your iron deficiency to promote your healing process, therefore, you need to consume iron rich foods such as beans, green leaf vegetables, liver, lentils, meat and cereals.
